FAQ
How does the SVG Splitter work?
It parses your SVG file and identifies individual elements based on groups (<g>), layers, or top-level paths. It then generates separate SVG files for each element, maintaining their original dimensions and coordinates.
Will I lose my CSS styles when splitting?
The tool attempts to preserve inline styles. However, if your styles are defined in a global <style> block at the top of the file, you may need to re-apply them to individual files manually.
Is there a limit to how many parts I can split?
No, there is no hard limit. Whether your file has 2 elements or 200, the tool will process them all. Large files might take a few seconds longer to zip for download.
